Hi Everyone,
Similar to others, Malaysia is currently facing an environment of uncertainty and a critical circumstance due to the Covid-19 outbreak. With more than billions of people confined to their homes worldwide followed by an extension of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia, there are those who are working under pressure in the 'war' against Covid-19 for the welfare of the people and the country.
Recognising these deeds of bravery, vivo Malaysia, leading global technology company is adamant to assist in protecting the people from any respiratory illnesses, as well as in the force of supporting the shortage of face masks in Malaysia by contributing a total of 20,000 face masks to fight Covid-19.
“As residents of Malaysia, we try to play our part in helping our community in providing valuable supplies to the people in need. Together, we stay strong and battle this pandemic,” said Mr. Mike Xu, Chief Executive Officer of vivo Malaysia.
Vivo Malaysia contributed these face masks in partnership with Mercy Malaysia, a non-profit organisation focusing on providing medical relief, sustainable health related development and risk reduction activities for vulnerable communities in both crisis and non-crisis situations.
Vivo Malaysia shows its utmost sympathy and care to those infected by the virus outbreak and commits to improving the wellbeing of the society.
“We are truly grateful and appreciate every action taken to curb the spread of this pandemic,” said Mr Mike. “Together, we will fulfil our civic duty to the country, in accordance with our Prime Minister’s saying, “Berat Sama Dipikul, Ringan Sama Dijinjing” – encouraging us to work together throughout the good and bad times.”
