IL DIVO Musical Affair Memang Terbaik

Hi Korang,

Aku jarang pi tengok concert yang membabitkan international artist ni.

Selain daripada tiketnya yang mahal dan aku tak berapa minat artist yang datang tuh tak kiralah apa negara pun.

Bila Genting offer 2 tiket VIP ke IL Divo ni aku jadi cam tergatal nak pi plak. Yelah ko, aku memang minat diorang ni dari dulu, dengan suara soprano yang boleh membolehkan meremang bulu roma kan.

Kali ni paksa Mr Big, walaupun aku tau dia memang langsung tak minat music sebegini. Agaknya bini dia asyik duk membebel je suruh amik cuti lah, itu lah inilah. Dia ikutkan jugak. 

Lepas solat Jumaat, ktorang terus gerak ke Genting.

Kereta tak banyak naik, dengan cuaca jerebu lagi ermm cuak-cuak jugak aku dibuatnya. Sampai atas boleh plak kabus tebal dan sejuk. Dahlah aku ni dengan short je bagai, alah redah je lah. 

Check in First World dah tak susah, dah ada kiosk belambak-lambak, booking bilik guna iHolidays memang senang. Masuk bilik, letak beg rehat kejap then terus je merayap jalan-jalan di Genting ni, singgah minum jap and then terus je pi collect tiket kat lobby Arena All Stars.

Dalam kul 8pm cam baru bergerak dari bilik ke Arena All Stars. Ramainya orang tapi tiket dah bernombor so oklah tak berebut tempat. Ktorang dapat seat PS2 RM390. Ermm jadi lah. Dalam 10 minit cam tu, konsert pun start.

Kumpulan yang dianggotai oleh Sebastien Izambard, Carlos Marin, David Miller dan Urs Buhler rasanya ketua pelantun vokal IL Divo ini kebiasaannya membawakan lagu-lagu latar dalam teater serta muzikal dari Barat.

Walaupun IL Divo ni penyanyinya agak berumur tapi bila part nyanyi memang terbaik. Suara awesome. Bila lagu yang diorang bawak tu cam biasa dengar je, semua orang turut serta nyanyi then bile time lagu latin tu hah ko ternganga dibuatnya coz tak paham kan. 

Antara lagu popular ILDivo yang dipersembahkan bertajuk Tonight, Some Enchanted Evening dan Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

Bila nak abis tuh, audience cam tak nak je bangun dan suruh diroang nyanyi lagi, ermm betul-betul ko diorg keluar sekali lagi dan perform 2 lagu iaitu My Way dan Time To Say Goodbye. 

Rasa sangat beruntung lah dapat menonton konsert terbaik ni ek

Genting Charity Event 2013 @ Resorts World Genting Highlands

Hi Korang,

Hari tu kan aku dah citer pasal permainan terbaru THE WAVES kat Genting Theme Park kan, now citer pasal charity event plak.

Bila dapat jemputan semacam ni, memang tak lepas peluang lah walaupun time tu ada 4-5 event lain yang lagi best. Tetap Genting di hatiku tau !

Cam biasa naik bus kat dekat Wisma Genting tuh, nasib baik yang pergi ni semua dah kenal so boleh memekak-mekak dalam bus. Belum pun lepas area Toll Gombak, memasing dah ngorok siot betul. Diaorg ni asal naik bas je nak membuta kan maklumlah kena air-con kuat, dah macam bebudak plak aku tengok.

Sesampai je Ms Jq Lee (GENM WeCare Team) yang comey lote ni dah tunggu. Terus je ktorg di bawa ke First World Cafe untuk lite breakfast. Kat situ dijumpakan dengan mereka-mereka ni yang kurang bernasib baik ni.

Ada 3 persatuan iaitu:-

1. Myanmar Chin Student Organization – Kiwanis (80pax)

The Kiwanis club of KL works closely with several children’s homes and learning centres and one of them is the Myanmar Chin Student Organisation based in Taman Puchong Utama. They are using this trips to involve their Kiwanians and also Kiwanis Youth who will act as chaperons to these Myanmarese kids.

2. Pertubuhan Wanita dan Kesihatan, Kuala Lumpur (WAKE) 17 pax

The impact of AIDS on children and adults are both complex and multifaced. WAKE uses a holistic approach to the management of the children’s health and for the resident of the Homes. These children are HIV infected children and affected siblings who are abandoned.

3. PT Foundation (26 pax)

PT Foundation strives to be the most affective community-based organization providing information, education and care services relating to HIV/AIDS and sexuality in Malaysia. Each  day our 5 drop-in centers offer food, chelter, care and support to over 200 of the most marginalized members of our community.

Tujuan Charity event ni adalah untuk bagi mereka yang kurang bernasib baik ni merasai pengalaman menyeronokkan di Resorts World Genting dan juga di Genting Theme Park.

So ktorg semua having breakfast together beramai-ramai

Kemudian terus je First World Cineplex untuk movie screening. Citer ‘Oz the Great & Powerful’.

Synopsis of ‘Oz the Great & Powerful’.

Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurley away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Lad of Oz. At first he thinks he’s hit the jackpot-fame and fortune are his for the taking. However, when he meets 3 witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams) who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Putting hismagical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity and even a bit of wizardry-Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Nasib baik belum lagi tengok citer ni. Kira layan gak la coz 3D kan. Citer bebudak memang best. Kira macam real sungguh. Good choice.

Abis movie dah tengahari pun, apalagi balik ke First World Café untuk lunch. Yeah.. makan sampai kenyang tak ingat. Ada sessi pemberian goodies pada 3 badan charity ni. Seronok betul diorg dapat hadiah kan. Walaupun peralatan sekolah tapi bermakna wei untuk diorg.

Lepas makan, apalagi happy time!

Masuk ke Outdoor Theme Park Genting.

First sekali, ktorg di bawa ke THE WAVES. Alah permainan terbaru kat dalam Genting ni. Rupanya launchingnya pada hari tu gak. Lepas je perasmian, team ktorg adalah yang first sekali dapat main. Mestilah seronok tak ingat. Berpusing-pusing, nasib baik tak terkeluar apa yang di bedal tadi.

Then semua bloggers ni bawak haluan masing-masing, yelah seronok benau nak main semua game kan. Aku +Mr Big+Ruby+Naim+Hanis tak delah hardcore nak main semua menda kan. So ktorg jejalan je dalam nie, kalau ada yang berkenan dan tak ramai orang baru lah main.

Jalan punya jalan dah petang dah pun. Lepak kat Starbucks sementara tunggu bas sampai.

Dalam bas, ermm semua pengsan yang amat.

Anyway thank you team Genting dan First World Hotel for this special invitation. Memang best ooo. Sambil berlibur sambil beramal kan. Hopefully kalau ada lagi event cam ni, jangan lupa jemput den dengan Mr Big yo…

Genting International Magic Festival

Ianya merupakan showcase antarabangsa yang menghimpunkan magicians, magical buskers dan magical exhibits di dalam satu bumbung yang pertama di Malaysia ni. Festival ini di arahkan dan diterbitkan oleh rakyat Malaysia sendiri. Best kan.

A total of 8 international vendors will be here to present their magic wares at First World Plaza, offering you a wide and unique selection that will enhance a very basic magic act into something that looks complicated. No magic skills and experience are required as these products are easy to use. But you will need to find your beautiful assistant on your own.

The New Snow World @ Genting Highland

Siapa pernah pergi Snow World kat Genting Highland tuh?

Aku pernah tapi rasanya dah 5 tahun lepas lah masa ktorg pi holiday baru-baru kahwin dulu. Memang sangat sejuk tempatnya. Mengigil ooo konon-konon macam kat oversea lah. Siap pakai winter coat lagi tau.

Then, hari tuh masa ada Genting Charity event tu, ingatkan naklah jejak kaki ke Snow World ni lagi. La bila sampai depan tu rupanya tutup under renovation plak. Ermm tak tertunailah hasrat dihati kan huhuhu.

Aku dengar-dengar ada banyak features best-best untuk The New Snow World ni.

Di antaranya ialah :-

The Winter Downtown + World Heritage Concept

The relief façade along the sideway of the snow chamber depicts the concept of a winter downtown experience. The stretch of streetscape along the slope creates a wonderful visually-stimulating experience and certain window bays have been reserved to serve as possible vendor stalls or resting bays.

Walk through the authentic streets as animated and rhythmic lights twinkle from the windows of the shops which houses an English Tea Shop, a French Bakery,  an Italian  Pizzeria as well as shops displaying Spanish red wine, Dutch clogs and Swiss chocolates to experience the culture and heritage of different countries.

LED Light Animation Scheme

Stroll down the streets of a snowy downtown and be amazed by the unique light scheme which will gradually transform SnowWorld from cheery daytime to magical nighttime.

Lookout Point

There are plenty of attraction spots and corners in the thematic interior which provide a beautiful backdrop for endless photo opportunities. Climb up a flight of stairs to the outlandish castle which is a contrast to the quaint and scenic downtown streetscape. Standing high up at the center podium will give a breathtaking view of the entire surroundings, and is also a great place to snap a few photos!

Warm House

Another attraction nestled in the snow-covered “hills” is the Warm House. Drop by this chamber if you wish to take a rest before continuing to discover more of the snowy wonderland!

Ice Sculpture + Play Slide + Cresta Run Slide + Snowball Time

Be awed by the spectacular ice sculptures on display as you frolic in the snow. For the more adventurous, take a spin on the Play Slide or Cresta Run Slide that will definitely steal your breath away!
